Four of Swords

Four of Swords, from Hanson-Roberts TarotTarot Message of the Day:

What do you usually do when you need to gather your strength and focus?

Do you

  • prepare your mind with positive affirmations?
  • move your body and flex your muscles?
  • take a few deep breaths to help you stay in tune with your inner guidance?
  • quiet your mind and shift your focus inward?

This tarot card “Four of Swords” shows a knight taking a rest. It appears that he is trying to restore his energy.

While “Four of Swords” may show up to suggest you to slow down and obtain some rest, it may also serve as a signal to ask you to get ready for something challenging or demanding in the near future.

If you have a tendency to worry a lot, “Four of Swords” may be here to suggest you to let go of your anxiety. Your worries are probably clouding your judgment and distracting you from seeing the entire picture of your current situation.

If possible, try meditation to help you calm down and clear your mind. It may also be helpful if you’d allow yourself to have a restful night’s sleep.

I sincerely wish you all the very best. If you enjoyed this post, please consider adding the RSS feed to your news aggregator.

Ten of Staves

Ten of Staves, from The Chinese TarotTarot Message of the Day:

Unlike other “Ten of Staves” which illustrate a man with a heavy load of ten wands (see here and here), the Chinese Tarot shows a Taoist priest exercising his power to perform magic.

It seems that the priest is trying his best to do the impossible – he is attempting to alter the natural cycle of the four seasons.

When this tarot card “Ten of Staves” appears in a reading, it implies that you are pushing yourself to do things beyond your limits.

While helping others can be a great way to connect with people in the community, you need to know your own limits and learn not to overextend yourself.

What you are currently doing is wearing you out.

I hope you’ll look into how you’re spending your time and energy and make some appropriate adjustments to your schedule.

Namaste,
Henrietta

Ace of Cups

Ace of Cups, from Morgan-Greer TarotTarot Message of the Day:

In this tarot card “Ace of Cups”, a hand emerges from the clouds to offer blessings.

The hand holds onto a golden cup which is filled with water. In the center of the cup rises a glowing ball of bright energy. There is a dove behind the cup. It seems that the bird is spreading its wings to protect the glowing light.

In the language of tarot, Aces suggest new beginnings or fresh opportunities.

Since the suit of Cups represents the element of water which is associated with intuition and love (emotions, deep feelings, forgiveness and compassion), “Ace of Cups” may imply an opportunity to express your emotional self.

If you have a hard time letting go of resentment or anger, “Ace of Cups” is here to ask you to forgive.

I hope you’d embrace yourself with love today so that you’ll set yourself free from your emotional toxins.

Namaste,
Henrietta

Page of Pentacles

Page of Pentacles, from Universal Waite TarotTarot Message of the Day:

How would you react when you are given the chance to make your dream come true?

Would you

  • feel excited and overjoyed?
  • become flabbergasted and confused?
  • try your best to secure the opportunity immediately?
  • take any real action to go after the opportunity?
  • ignore the opportunity because you don’t want to face the risk of failure?

This tarot card “Page of Pentacles” shows a young person holding a pentacle in his hands. It appears that he is fascinated by the beauty of the pentacle.

If you’re like the Page in the card, you may daydream a lot but feel awkward or inadequate when you are asked to commit yourself to become practical and responsible for your tasks at work, at school or at home.

Please do not feel discouraged by your lack of experience. Although the “Page of Pentacles” may not possess all the skills needed to do a good job, he has a keen heart to learn and grow.

When “Page of Pentacles” shows up in a reading, it suggests an opportunity to succeed but nothing would come about unless you commit yourself to learning and growing.

I sincerely wish you all the very best. If you enjoyed this post, please consider adding the RSS feed to your news aggregator.

The Hermit

The Hermit, from Golden TarotTarot Message of the Day:

In Golden Tarot, “The Hermit” is represented by St. Francis of Assisi, who was renown for his spirituality and modesty during the period of the Renaissance.

When “The Hermit” appears in a tarot reading, it implies that your greatest asset is not related to any material possession.

If you’ve somehow doubted your ability to handle an upcoming challenge, “The Hermit” is here to assure you that you have what it needs to pull through and succeed.

If you have been thinking of hiring others to fix your problem, “The Hermit” is here to let you know that your problem is not to be resolved by means of using external help.

Rather, you must face the problem yourself and use your own talents and skills to overcome the challenge.

I sincerely wish you all the very best. If you enjoyed this post, please consider adding the RSS feed to your news aggregator.

The Hierophant

The Hierophant, from The New Palladini Tarot

Tarot Message of the Day:

Is what you are doing right now in conflict with your own system of belief and value?

If so, how are you going to resolve the situation?

This tarot card “The Hierophant” depicts a spiritual leader who keeps his promise and lives to serve, guide and teach others in the society.

When “The Hierophant” shows up in a reading, it may represent a trustworthy source that you’d go to whenever you feel lost and would like to seek guidance or advice.

While this trustworthy source may be a book, a person or a group of people, it may also represent God, Buddha, the Universe or your own guidance from within.

If you have been procrastinating and lacking the enthusiasm to cope with your existing problem, please take this card as a clue and go to find help to overcome your challenge.

You’ll feel more energetic as you take the matter into your own hands and accept the responsibility to learn your lesson of the day.

Page of Cups

Page of Cups, from Whimsical TarotTarot Message of the Day:

Unlike other tarot cards of “Page of Cups” which feature a fish jumping out of a cup that is held by a youngster (see here and here), the author of the Whimsical Tarot deck chooses a crystal ball to illustrate the message.

If you look up the meaning of “Page of Cups”, you may notice phrases such as “receiving guidance from within”, “letting your heart lead the way”, “the beginning of creativity”, “an emergence of hidden talents”, etc.

In the companion guide to the Whimsical Tarot, author Dorothy Morrison suggests that when “Page of Cups” shows up in your reading, you may be ready to receive your guidance from within.

Should the Page of Cups materialize in your spread, chances are that you’re looking for explanations and solutions. You may even feel like you know the answers, but can’t get a grip on the questions. Brace yourself. Pack a spiritual bag. Your journey within is about to begin.

As you travel deep inside yourself, take a good look at what makes you the person you are. Some discoveries will be stimulating. Some may make you smile. Others may not be so pleasant, but examine them carefully anyway. The solutions you seek are hiding there somewhere, and you can’t afford to miss them.

Know that, in this life, you are never dealt a hand that you can’t play; it may just be that you’d rather be holding other cards. There is always a solution to every problem, and the answer lies within you…

Dorothy mentions that the message of “Page of Cups” is similar to that of a crystal ball, where both serve as your portal to travel deep within to seek perfect clarity for your solution.

To further demonstrate the emotional and intuitive qualities of the suit of Cups, golden fish are included in the card to complete the meaning.

The golden fish are here to remind you that if you’re to follow through and let your heart lead the way, you must be willing to dive deep within and swim to the core of your inner self and locate your true source of happiness.

What makes you truly happy will help you maintain the enthusiasm and propel you to move forward and commit to making your dream come true.

In short, the message of “Page of Cups” is about getting in tune with your inner guidance to pursue what feels right.

Are you ready to get in touch with the power of your emotions and honor your message from within?

Namaste,
Henrietta
