Dwarves are rather small creatures with large heads and gnarled faces.  Dwarves live in underground caverns where they practice their superb metalworking skills and mining techniques.  They are master craftsmen in their work with stones, gems, and metal.  Although suspicious and tricky on occasion, dwarves are said to be friendly if treated with respect and kindness.
