Ten of Rods

Ten of Rods, from Whimsical TarotTarot Message of the Day:

When are you going to calm down and realize that what you’ve been through is just another shower of blessing in disguise?

This tarot card “Ten of Rods” depicts a scene from the fairy tale The Goose Girl.

Here, we see The Princess sobbing pitifully as her handkerchief drifts farther and farther away from her.  It looks like The Princess is drowning in her own dismal thoughts because she could not figure out what type of proper action she could take in the moment.  Not paying attention to her surroundings, The Princess does not realize a raven is flying nearby, heading towards the direction of her handkerchief.  Perhaps all is not as bleak as it seems.

When “Ten of Rods” shows up in a tarot reading, it may suggest even when your current situation is not going in a direction that you’ve desired, your life could ultimately bring you wonders that would continue to positively surprise and delight you.

If you’ve been feeling drained by the demands and opinions of other people, this card “Ten of Rods” could be here to invite you to consider letting go of your subservient nature of always wanting to please and start following your heartfelt desire and honor what matters to you the most to take care of your own welfare.

Just like The Princess in the tale The Goose Girl, your life is not as dismal as you think.

“Ten of Rods” could be here to encourage you to shift your focus away from the tension of your unpleasant circumstances and start looking around to appreciate the seeds of possibilities in the moment.

I sincerely wish you all the very best.

Namaste,
Henrietta
